• Vanity- a desire to look good and Malice- desire to do evil

• I've agree with the sentence above since in our world, if you don't  follow along as everyone in the program has then you are going to get disapprove and negative.

Let me walk you though the pedestrian

We have live in a time where now technology has taken over people's lives, like it has gotten so bad to the point there is a phobia called Nomophobia, which the fear of being away from your phone. A man name Ray Bradbury has predicated this in his short story called, "The Pedestrian."

"The Pedestrian" by Ray Bradbury is about  him going on a walk on the street of Los Angles at night and a police officer stops him due to the fact that it was unusual that someone walks at night in the street of Los Angles. Also his feelings about how humanity has become so distant to each other, technology that it has been...and lastly how he questions the way the authority uses their powers.

The tone for the story, "The Pedestrian" is portrayed in a natural and low. The reason why I assume his tone is natural and low is due to the fact of reading the story, when the author describes his taught when he walks the street

The characters in the story are quite simple, its the author himself, a police officer and society itself.


We are at the end of this little essay I've typed up, now we can see that "The Pedestrian" story was a little telling of what is going to happen in the future of society on how distant we are to each other by technology.

Letter To A Mentor DRAFT 1

Hi mentor! I hope that you can teach me all kinds of art tips like how an anatomy works, different facial expressions and etc. To criticize my stories if they have plot holes or they don't even make sense, also to see if my characters design are too bland. I want to let you know in advance, I have social anxiety so please don't mind when I don't talk and try to avoid eye.

How I Read

My impression on the article, 'How We Read' by my English Teacher, Dr. Preston was that it peek my interest since it had a unique title and it was written by my English teacher.

MY THESIS STATEMENT

The main point that I come to fancy from "Young Goodman, Brown" is that even people that you known all your life has skeletons in their closet.

If we were to write an essay, I would prefer to let us choose then a teacher assigning us one to write since most students aren't interested in whatever the teacher assign us to write an essay for.

First Impression of A dream

My first impression of the poem called, "A Dream Within a Dream" by Edgar Allan Poe was disinterested since I am not really fond of Edgar Allan Poe's work of poetry. The poem made me slightly bored since none of the words draw my attention and didn't bring anything to help with my journal writing.

TODAY I WAS THINKING

Today in class was very interesting to say the least. Now I know how to get myself back in track to work, it's pretty simple you just rub the tip of your index finger and thumb together and your nerves will give some kind of jolt feeling. We also talk about a week schedule, where there will be a specific goals on the day of the week. I was very fond of the idea.

How I Read

My reading experience has been very well, I have always explore different genres. My preferences are romance or fiction books usually, but I never mind reading other genres. The reason that Romance and Fiction books are my preferences is that they have the most interesting plots and conflicts I've seen in literature and are the most relatable. 

EVERYTHING IS A REMIX

The Making of an Essay

My experience of essay writing are not that pleasing since  I would lose sleep trying to make sure i have a certain amount of words, making sure I have good grammar, not missing or even using punctuation. The experience help me write more formal. From today's lesson in class, I did learn that essay is 'try' in French and some good advice.

THE FIRST 50 PAGES

The book I read is "Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes, the book also got a live action film. The book is about a girl name Louisa Clark, but is called Lou for short. She had a normal life until her mother goes bankrupt and takes a job that has her taking care of very rich man name Will Traynor, that is in a wheelchair due to an accident. Both of them couldn't get along until Lou realize Will's happiness becomes important to her, so important that she forgets her's. Lou thrives to show Will that life is worth living. The reason I read this book is because I saw the trailer for the live action film and I really wanted to watch it but I like reading the books before the live film and so I read it and fall in love with it.

HACK TO SCHOOL

1.) This class is about making you the best you, that you can be and understanding others as well yourself.

2.) The easiest parts of this class is the work since the question that the class receives are opinion like answers and don't have correct answers.

3.) The hardest part of this class is when we're assign to memorization since I do not have an excellent memory and that I have other things to remember, so this is the hard for me.

4.) The thing I have learn in this class is to think more deeper and how to express myself better, This is from mostly the journal entries we do.

5.) If I am being completely honest I don't have a big question.

Getting To Know You

The importance of getting to know the people around is significant since it can be more comfortable environment to work at if you know everyone around you. Today's active was very interesting since i learn new phobias, people's dislikes to stuff and hobbies that are in the norm or bizarre.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES OF A HACKER

The way that he uses his diction is some profanity, which I feel like he uses them so it can make his voice more bolder in what he says. Also his diction makes it looks he is talking to very elderly adults with the youthful vocabulary. His Syntax mostly fancy me since after he was done with a paragraph he said, "Damn kid,... They're all alike." which It shows me that he is a young boy. When i read his writing, it was obvious that his tone when he wrote it was annoy since the older gen kept thinking that they are all criminals with the same motivation.

YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO YOUR OPINION

How would you feel if  someone walk up to you and said, "You are not entitled to your opinion." Your reaction would be confuse since you are like wondering why in hell did this random person walk up to me and tell me that also be offend since you'll most likely say, "I am entitled to my opinion." When you are really not. The reason you are not entitled to your opinion is because it restrict other opinions from being express. Like, let's say if I  said, "Climate Change isn't real and I'm entitled to my opinion." Even though the earth has been warming up over the past years, to the point that Antarctica is melting and the animals that inhabit there are dying. This shows how I choose to ignore reality's facts since I'm simply entitled to my opinion.

The Right to Your Opinion Thoughts

I was really fond of this article, although it was long. It still was a good read since it shows how much us as human beings don't want to be shown as 'wrong'. I'll use a personally example, my father, a person that hates and I mean hates when his truth or opinion is false, he'll use the same excuse like everyone else, "Well, its my opinion." and doesn't have evidences to back up his claim. It just shows how opinions will get back-flash due to someone else's opinion.

My Response to The Socratic Method

I personally like the Socratic Method, as it will make teachers have a clearer understanding about their student's ways of thinking the way they think.  For me, teachers never bother to see what students can do deeply inside of them, but will only judge what they are presented on the outside.
So beside the "normal" classroom, where students feel restricted of showing their true ways thinking and having to do some task over and over until exams come.  But thankfully there is some teachers that understand that doesn't majority of the time and that only makes the students bored out of their minds.
